Creating your merchant account

Overview

Before setting up your shop, you’ll need a merchant account. Signup walks you through creating your login, completing your personal profile, and adding your business and first location.

1. Create your login

Go to tryworthify.com and select the signup option.

Enter your email address and create a password. You’ll use these credentials to sign in to Worthify.

2. Complete your profile

Add your personal account information:

• First name: Required.

• Last name: Required.

• Phone number: Optional.

• Profile image: Optional.

This is your personal profile, separate from your business details.

3. Add your business details

Create your merchant profile with:

• Business name: Required.

• Description: Optional.

• Business phone number: Optional.

• Website: Optional.

Use the business name your customers recognize. You can update your business details later.

4. Add your first location

Worthify organizes your business around locations. Add at least one location during signup, even if you operate a single shop.

Enter:

• Business address: Required.

• Location type: Required—for example, a coffee shop, bakery, or food truck.

If you have multiple locations, start with one. You can add the others from your dashboard after signup.

5. Save and open your dashboard

Submit your details to finish creating your account.

You’ll arrive at your merchant dashboard, where you can begin customizing your shop and customer pass, configuring rewards, and setting up your Online Shop.

Connecting Stripe is a separate step when you’re ready to collect payments.

FAQs

Do I need a website to create an account? No. The website field is optional, and you can add one later.

Can I change my business details later? Yes. You can update your business and location details from your dashboard.

What if I have multiple locations? Add your first location during signup. You can add and manage additional locations from your dashboard afterward.

Do I need to connect Stripe during signup? No. You can create your account and set up your shop before connecting Stripe. A connected and verified Stripe account is required to collect payments through Worthify.
