Creating your program

Overview

After customizing your pass, you’ll set up the program behind it. Completing this step unlocks the rest of your shop.

Program setup is required. Rewards are optional. You can use your pass to connect customers to your shop without offering points or redeemable rewards.

1. Choose whether to offer rewards

If you don’t want a rewards program, complete setup without enabling rewards and selecting “No program”.

If you want customers to earn points and redeem rewards, configure the earning rules and rewards during this step.

2. Configure rewards, if enabled

You can choose a template to pre-fill your rewards configuration or start from scratch. Review the settings and adjust them to suit your business.

Choose how customers earn points:

• Visit count: Award points based on qualifying visits or purchases.

• Purchase amount: Award points based on how much a customer spends.

Enter the visit or spending requirement and the number of points awarded.

3. Add redeemable rewards, if enabled

Create the benefits customers can redeem with their points.

For each reward, configure:

• Discount type: An amount or percentage off.

• Reward value: The value of the discount.

• Points required: The points needed to redeem it.

• Name: The reward name customers will see.

• Description: Optional details about the reward.

• Maximum discount: A limit on the discount value, where applicable.

You can offer multiple rewards at different point requirements. For example, a smaller reward could require 200 points and a larger reward could require 500 points.

4. Add any conditions

If you offer rewards with restrictions, explain them clearly.

You can configure a minimum purchase amount and add terms describing when rewards can be used. These fields are optional.

5. Choose the applicable locations

Select the locations your program applies to. Your current location is selected by default.

6. Save your program

Review your configuration and finish setup.

Your program connects the customer pass to your shop and unlocks the remaining shop features. Collecting payments requires a separate Stripe connection and verification.

FAQs

Can I use Worthify without offering rewards? Yes. You must complete program setup, but you can leave rewards disabled.

Can I change my rewards configuration later? Yes. You can manage your rewards configuration from Your pass → Rewards in the merchant dashboard.

Can I add more rewards later? Yes. You can add, edit, or remove reward items from your dashboard.

Does completing program setup enable payments? No. To collect payments through Worthify, you also need to connect Stripe and complete its account verification.
