Using Pass checkout

Overview

Pass checkout connects a customer’s online order to their shop pass.

The customer builds their cart and chooses Pass checkout. When they arrive for pickup, you scan their pass in Worthify Go, review and confirm the order, and charge the card saved on their profile.

Payment is collected when you complete the checkout at pickup, rather than when the customer builds their cart.

Before you start

Make sure:

• Your shop’s payment account is connected and verified.

• Pass checkout is available to customers in your online shop.

• Your team is signed in to Worthify Go and ready to scan passes.

• The customer has a card saved on their profile.

How customers use Pass checkout

1. The customer builds a cart in your online shop.

2. They choose Pass checkout.

3. At pickup, they open your shop’s pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

4. They present the pass for your team to scan.

Complete checkout at pickup

1. Scan the pass. Open the customer’s profile and orders in Worthify Go.

2. Review the order. Confirm the correct order and amount with the customer.

3. Confirm and collect payment. Complete the Pass checkout flow to charge their saved card.

4. Check the result. Make sure payment succeeded before handing over the order.

5. Complete fulfillment. Mark the order completed once payment and pickup are finished.

Choosing Pass checkout does not mean the order has already been paid. Always check the payment result.

If payment doesn’t succeed

Review the message shown in Worthify Go and check the payment status before retrying.

If the saved card cannot be charged, arrange another payment method with the customer. Confirm payment before completing the handover.

FAQs

Does scanning a pass immediately charge the customer? Scanning lets you find the customer and their orders. You then review and confirm the order to complete payment.

Does the customer need to tap their physical card? No. Pass checkout charges the card saved on their profile.

Where can I review or refund the payment? Go to Online shop → Payment account → Payments in your dashboard.
